I've often called this a run-on sentence song, stream-of-consciousness, however you want to say it. It came pouring out of me, verse after verse after verse. I probably wrote 30 verses for this song. It took me a long time to pare it down, though some of them were truly rubbish to be honest. I went on a long solo backpacking trip and wrote this song along the way. It's always fun to play this one live and have folks sing along on the chorus. It felt like the right way to end this album.
